About me
Nick Osborn
Hello, my name is Nick Osborn and I run Osborn Coaching and Mentoring Services. I'm an EMCC accredited coach / mentor and I’ve been coaching and mentoring for over 20 years.
Why I'm a coach and mentor
I want to help people make the most of their lives at work. After all, we spend a lot of our time working!

And I’d like others to benefit from my past experiences, my successes, and, of course to learn from my setbacks.
Who I work with
I work with people who are:
  1. Unhappy in their current job and want to find a new role or career path.
  2. Wanting to improve their CVs and prepare for job interviews.
  3. Seeking help to deal with challenges at work or improve their skills.
  4. Managers and executives who want to improve their leadership skills and effectiveness.
  5. Business owners who would like some independent and objective support.
  6. Budding entrepreneurs who are thinking of starting a business or becoming self-employed.
My background
Before I established Osborn Coaching and Mentoring Services I worked for many years for, and with, businesses of all shapes and sizes and with people from new joiners fresh out of school and university to senior managers and chief executives.

I've been a corporate bank manager with Barclays Bank supporting small and medium-sized businesses and a change management consultant with PwC helping big organisations overcome people development, behavioural and cultural challenges.  I've also led training teams for Barclays and the Financial Conduct Authority, one of the UK's financial services regulators.

Along the way I've built and managed many operational and project teams and spent hundreds of hours coaching and mentoring colleagues and clients.
My qualifications
As well as having years of first-hand experience, I also hold a Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring from the Institute of Counselling and I'm a  European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) Accredited Coach/Mentor.
